Record-tying 6th Masters crown for O鈥橲ullivan

Ronnie O鈥橲ullivan showed why he is called the Rocket as he earned a record-equalling sixth Masters title by thrashing Barry Hawkins 10-1 in the final in London on Sunday.

O鈥橲ullivan, 40, had not played in a major tournament since last year鈥檚 world championship but there was little sign of any rustiness as he joined Stephen Hendry on six Masters titles. 鈥淚鈥檓 over the moon,鈥 the five-time world champion told the BBC after lifting the trophy with the biggest winning margin in a Masters final since Steve Davis鈥 9-0 victory in 1988. It was world No. 6 O鈥橲ullivan鈥檚 first televised tournament since he lost to Stuart Bingham in the quarterfinals of the worlds in April.
