ENGLAND'S snooker ace Judd Trump held off a furious rally by Mark Williams to reach the final of the Shanghai Masters with a 6-4 victory in their semifinal yesterday. Trump led 3-1 at the first interval and extended his lead to 5-1 before the Welshman began his gritty rally, taking three frames in a row. But Trump held on to take the 10th frame and set up a final against John Higgins. The Scot eased past another Englishman Shaun Murphy 6-3 late last night.
