EGYPT and Algeria play for a place in the World Cup today, 20 years after a similar make-or-break match between the teams sparked riots. Egypt fans greeted the Algeria team at the airport by throwing stones on Thursday. One player was hospitalized and three others injured. An Algerian minister said the players were riding in their bus to their hotel when they were attacked. Egyptian police denied anyone was hurt.
