FRANCE striker Nicolas Anelka and Brazil defender Alex have had their transfer requests accepted by Chelsea and will leave the English Premier League club in January.
Anelka said yesterday he already knows which team he will be joining next. Writing on his personal website, the 32-year-old Anelka said, "I've known for a little while where I'll be on January 2" - but did not name the club.
Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua is among the teams keen on signing the striker.
Anelka, who joined from Bolton in 2008, has scored only one goal this season under new coach Andre Villas-Boas.
Anelka has been marginalized at the London club following the signing last season of Spain striker Fernando Torres.
