Bayern’s Kroos open to Premier League move

GERMANY midfielder Toni Kroos has hinted at a future in England’s Premier League as his contract extension talks continue to stall at Bayern Munich.

Kroos, 24, has a contract until June 2015, but extension talks have faltered amidst reports he wants to boost his salary to become one of the European champion’s top earners. “There is nothing much new and there is still no decision,” said Kroos. “Things will remain that way for a while, but it’s no secret that the Premier League is not a bad league to play in.” Reports claim Manchester United is prepared to offer him 250,000 pounds (US$415,975) per week.
