DAVID Beckham is likely to become the "international ambassador" for the Chinese Super League (CSL), a source told Xinhua on Wednesday.
Zhu Qilin, CSL chief, said that it is almost certain that the former England midfielder will be the CSL international ambassador for the 2013 season, but some procedures still need to be worked out. He denied that Beckham, 37, will attend the opening ceremony of the new season, starting on March 8.
