Blanc contract left pending

FRENCH Football Federation president Noel Le Graet says it is "more reasonable" to wait until after the European Championship before offering national coach Laurent Blanc a new contract.
Blanc's contract expires after Euro 2012, and he previously said he wanted his future sorted out before the competition starts on June 8. Le Graet said that he wants to wait because France "has to do better" now. France went out of the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2008 group stages without winning a match.
