China seeks foreign help for coaches
CHINESE soccer officials are on the look out for a new foreign technical consultant to aid their national coach, but have no names yet.
China crashed out of the ongoing Asian Cup in Qatar after failing to make the knockout stages, but the Chinese Football Association is not considering a change of coach. "To blame the coach and to make a quick change of his post are what the CFA used to do after suffering any bad result," CFA chief Wei Di said. "The CFA officials have agreed that it's necessary for China's soccer to have some great coaches of our own. So we decided to go abroad and to invite a coach for the coaches."
