FORMER Australia coach John Buchanan will join England's coaching set-up on a short-term basis this summer, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced yesterday.
Buchanan, 56, who was in charge of the dominant Australia side from 1999 to 2007, will work principally with the under-16s, under-19s squad. England's senior team faces Australia in the Ashes starting next month and Buchanan, who plotted three series victories for Australia over England including a 5-0 whitewash last time, could be involved in England's preparations.
