Copa players in the market for new clubs
LOOK for many of the top players in the Copa America to be changing clubs when the South American championship ends later this month.
Carlos Tevez's agent has already confirmed that the striker's old team Corinthians has made an offer for the Argentine, who played two seasons for the Brazilian club before moving to England and eventually Manchester City.
His Argentina teammate Sergio Aguero, who has scored three of Argentina's four goals, has said he wants to leave Atletico Madrid.
Some other top players on the move could be Colombia striker Radamel Falcao, Brazil stars Neymar, Ganso and Lucas, and Uruguay's Diego Forlan.
Aguero could be a target of many teams including Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Juventus.
Falcao has scored twice and has been impressive in the Copa America after a great season with Porto. Porto coach Andre Villas-Boas has taken over at Chelsea and Falcao could follow soon.
The 19-year-old Neymar seems likely to be changing scenery. His Santos club has said it has already had offers from five clubs: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City and Anzhi Makhachkala of Russia.
All are said to be willing to pay the 45 million euros buyout clause.
The other Brazilian reportedly attracting attention from European clubs is young playmaker Lucas, who teamed up with Neymar to help Brazil win the under-20 South American championship earlier this year. Liverpool is reportedly interested.
Forlan has been linked to Tottenham, which would return him to England, where he had a difficult time at Manchester United.
Chile forward Alexis Sanchez is one of the hottest properties in the Copa America. His current club Udinese and Barcelona have been in talks, but so far no deal has been reached.
