Atletico Mineiro coach Cuca, bidding to lift the Club World Cup with the Brazilians, is mulling a potential switch after indicating yesterday he has received an offer to coach China’s Shandong Luneng. Cuca has steered Atletico to the Copa Libertadores as well as a pair of state league titles but revealed he was open to a new challenge. “I have received a very good offer, one which would be difficult to turn down,” Folha de Sao Paulo quoted Cuca as saying. “I have been to see the chairman and we will talk only after the Cup is over,” said Cuca, who is under contract to Atletico for another season. On Wednesday, Atletico takes on Moroccan host Raja Casablanca for a place in the World Club Cup final.
