DPRK team eager to play Brazil
THE men's soccer team of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) is eager to take on Brazilian national soccer team, its first opponent in the South Africa World Cup.
According to the newspaper Chosun Sinbo, the DPRK team was training for the matches. Hong Yong Jo, captain of the team said they were so exited that they can't wait to play the match.
Midfielder Kim Yong Jun that the biggest advantage of the team was solidarity, which is much more important than personal skills. He was looking forward to the match against the Brazilian team.
Being asked about the mood of playing against the powerful Brazilian team, goalkeeper Ri Myong Guk said: " See them on the field."
The team of the DPRK will meet the team of Brazil on June 16. It is in Group G with Brazil, Portugal and Cote d'Ivoire, which is considered as the "Group of Death".
