Deco set to retire after World Cup
PORTUGAL midfielder Deco will retire from international football after this year's World Cup in South Africa.
"I'll end my run at the World Cup, because of my age and because it's tiring," the 32-year-old Chelsea player told Brazil Radio Globo. "I'll say goodbye after the World Cup." Deco also said he hoped to return to play club football in Brazil, though he did not specify when. Deco was born in Brazil and took Portuguese nationality several years ago. He has won the Champions League with two different clubs -- 2004 with Porto and 2006 with Barcelona. He began his career with Brazilian club Corinthians.
