YANNICK Djalo scored two first-half goals to lead Sporting Lisbon to a 2-0 win over Manchester City 2-0 yesterday in the second game of a mini-tournament in Harrison, New Jersey.
In the 23rd minute, Simon Vukcevic crossed from the right and Djalo headed in off the fingertips of goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Djalo's second completed a passing sequence involving Evaldo and Daniel Carrico. Djalo one-touched it around Hart and knocked it into the open net.
Sporting will face Tottenham in tomorrow's final, with Manchester City to face the New York Red Bulls in the third-place playoff.
