Lazio midfielder Ederson is to have surgery on detached tendons in his right thigh and will miss the rest of the season. Ederson sustained the injury in Sunday’s 3-2 win at Udinese and club doctor Roberto Bianchini said he will be out for five to six months. Ederson, 28, needed surgery for a similar injury to his left thigh. He has made 15 appearances for Lazio this season, scoring once.
