Police say four officers have been hurt in clashes with fans of Bundesliga club Schalke on Saturday. Police said about 150 fans turned on officers as they tried to check the identity of a man who threatened one of their colleagues. They say officers were kicked and punched, then pelted with bottles, stones, trash cans and bicycles outside Gelsenkirchen station on Saturday evening.
