Fiorentina draws 1-1 with Lazio in Serie A

FIORENTINA substitute Keirrison equalized in injury time in a 1-1 draw with Lazio in the Serie A yesterday.

The Brazilian came off the bench and struck when Lazio was unable to clear a cross, picking up a loose ball, turning and shooting past goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.

Sebastiano Siviglia scored for Lazio by flicking in a corner in the seventh minute.

Lazio coach Edy Reja was sent to the stand late on after arguing with the referee over Thomas Hitzlsperger's booking. He is likely to be suspended.

Lazio is 17th with 26 points, three ahead of Livorno in the relegation zone but Livorno plays Siena today.

"We played well in the second half, but were unable to maintain the pressure from the first half," Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma said. "We then started to give the ball away in dangerous positions and we stopped playing our game."

Also yesterday, Catania beat Bari 4-0 victory.

Adrian Ricchiuti scored in the fourth minute with a left-footed drive and Cristian Llama doubled the lead before halftime when first to a rebound. Takayuki Morimoto made it 3-0 in the 80th and Jorge Martinez scored his eighth goal of the season in the 89th.
