FORMER Liverpool and England striker Robbie Fowler arrived in Townsville yesterday to begin a two-year deal with the expansion North Queensland Fury in Australia's A-League.
Fowler was not prepared to make predictions on how the new team will fare, with preseason training to begin on April 1 and the season starting in August. The 33-year-old's three-month contract with English Premier League's Blackburn Rovers expired in December.
