French surgeon confident that Ba would be competitive again

DEMBA Ba’s doctor is confident that the Senegal striker would be able to play again.
The French surgeon Olivier Bringer arrived in Shanghai today and headed straight to Putuo District People’s Hospital.
“I know Ba is doing well in this club, and I’m sure he will be able to recover and play football here again,” said the Frenchman. “In a few months’ time, he will have the possibility to make a comeback. He is a tough guy and I’m sure he will be able to go over this difficulty.”
Ba’s surgery on his fractured leg is scheduled for 8am tomorrow. Bringer will be assisted by experts from Huashan Hospital.
“We are used to this kind of surgeries,” Bringer added. “My team did it many times in France … even in Real Madrid.”
In the absence of Ba, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua lost 1-2 in a Chinese Super League match against Shijiazhuang Ever Bright today.
