Germany, England bid to host Euro 2020 final

THIRTEEN countries have dropped out of the race to host Euro 2020 matches while 19 have said they are in the race, European soccer’s governing body UEFA said yesterday.
UEFA added that England and Germany were the only countries which had bid to stage the semifinals and the final. The tournament will be held in 13 countries around the continent. UEFA will choose the host cities on September 19.
