AN Andre-Pierre Gignac double helped Toulouse to a 2-0 home win against Sochaux in the French Ligue 1 on Thursday. The France striker, who was the top league scorer last season, found the back of the net twice just after the interval as Toulouse moved up to ninth on 24 points. Girondins Bordeaux leads the table on 31 points. Lille humbled St Etienne 4-0.
