Guardiola: Arsenal fans will not be stung
BAYERN Munich coach has vowed Arsenal fans will not face inflated prices when they go to Germany after Bayern supporters protested against Champions League ticket costs at the London side.
German fans were cheered by Arsenal counterparts when they staged their demonstration for the first five minutes of Tuesday’s game in London.
Arsenal visits Bayern for the return group match on November 4 and Guardiola said after the game: “I will speak with (Arsene) Wenger for next time to make it cheaper for our fans.
“We will take care of Arsenal fans in Munich with a good price. They can travel,” he added.
“£64 a ticket but without fans football is not worth a penny,” said a banner held up at the start of the Champions League game before the German fans took their seats.
The 64 pound (US$98.82) price is one of the highest in the Champions League for average seats.
