Shane Long became the second striker to join Hull City from a rival Premier League club in a matter of days yesterday when he completed a transfer from West Bromwich Albion. Hull earlier in the week signed Nikica Jelavic from Everton, meaning that the Yokshire club have spent an estimated US$23 million on forwards this week. “It’s a club that’s on the up, and I’m delighted to be a part of that,” Long said of Hull.
