Juve鈥檚 Vidal completes switch to Bayern

Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal has completed his transfer from Juventus to Bayern Munich by signing a four-year contract with the German Bundesliga champion.
No fee was disclosed but media reports put it at 40 million euros (US$44.23 million).
鈥淚 wanted to take another big step forward in my career,鈥 the 28-year-old Vidal told the Bavarian club鈥檚 website yesterday.
鈥淚 want to keep developing as a player and win important trophies like the Champions League. I think the best opportunity to do so is with Bayern.鈥
Vidal was a member of the Juventus team beaten 1-3 by Barcelona in last month鈥檚 Champions League final.
He becomes Bayern鈥檚 second major signing of the transfer window after Brazilian midfielder Douglas Costa joined from Shakhtar Donetsk in July. Bayern has also sold Germany playmaker Bastian Schweinsteiger to Manchester United.
Vidal is no stranger to the Bundesliga having played for Bayer Leverkusen for four seasons until 2011.
He also helped Chile win the Copa America title for the first time on home soil this month.
鈥淚鈥檓 thrilled about playing in the Bundesliga again and obviously hope to win it this time,鈥 Vidal said. 鈥淚 didn鈥檛 manage it with Leverkusen back then but with Bayern there鈥檚 a very, very good chance.鈥
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid said yesterday that Brazil defender Felipe Luis will return to the club for four seasons after a one-year spell at Chelsea.
Atletico said it reached an agreement with Chelsea 鈥渇or the transfer of the winger鈥.
The 29-year-old Felipe Luis was one of three Atletico players to join Chelsea last season.
Felipe Luis first joined Atletico from Deportivo La Coruna in 2010, and played 184 times.
He made 26 appearances for Chelsea, helping it win the Premier League and League Cup.
