Li to coach China's women soccer team
FORMER Chinese men's international Li Xiaopeng was named the interim head coach of the women's national soccer team.
Chinese Football Association spokesman Dong Hua said that Li will coach the team at the Asian Games in Guangzhou in November. The 35-year-old Li, who spent most of his playing career in Shangdong Luneng, was one of the key members in Chinese men's only World Cup experience in 2002.
