Liverpool leads Asia Trophy line-up in HK

LIVERPOOL and Leicester City will compete for the Premier League Asia Trophy along with Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion in China’s Hong Kong in July, organizers said yesterday.
The biennial preseason event will feature four English Premier League teams for the first time, including Leicester, last year’s English champion, and Juergen Klopp’s Liverpool. Preseason tours have become regular for top clubs and the four English teams are among a number of European sides visiting Asia in the coming months. “We are very excited to be returning to Hong Kong this summer for the Premier League Asia Trophy,” EPL executive chairman Richard Scudamore said.
