ATHLETIC Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente says he will again try to leave his boyhood club in the winter after failing to secure a transfer this offseason.
Llorente said he "will be free again to negotiate in January" after playing his first minutes and scoring his first goal for Bilbao this season in Sunday's 3-3 draw at Espanyol.
The Spanish international told radio SER, "Even though one day I won't play for Athletic, I will always support this team. It is a personal decision and people have to respect it."
Llorente had not played in Bilbao's first three Spanish league games.
