LYON drew with Lorient 1-1 and watched rivals cut further into its lead in the French league on Saturday. Defending champion Lyon tops the standings with 39 points from 20 matches, but its lead shrank to two points over Rennes, which stretched its unbeaten streak to 18 games.
Lyon has won only one of its last six league matches. Bordeaux and Marseille had 35 points, Toulouse 34, PSG 33 and Lille 32.
