Milan considers selling stake to Qatar
AC Milan President Silvio Berlusconi is reportedly considering selling a 30 percent stake in the club to the Qatar Investment Authority.
The Gazzetta dello Sport says the deal could be worth 250 million euros (US$323 million), and would facilitate the building of a new stadium or the refurbishment of the San Siro. The deal could also include aspects involving Berlusconi's media empire and the Qatari-run Al-Jazeera network. The Qatar Investment Authority is Qatar's sovereign wealth fund.
