Moggi banned for life in fixing scam
FORMER Juventus general manager Luciano Moggi has been banned from all Italian football for life, the country's football federation said in a statement on Wednesday.
Moggi was banned for five years following the 2006 match-fixing scandal which led to Juventus being demoted and having its 2005 and 2006 Serie A titles stripped. With that suspension running out, the federation has decided to exile him for good along with fellow former Juventus director Antonio Giraudo and Innocenzo Mazzini, a former official at the federation.
