Mowen is captain
James Horwill has been stripped of the Australia captaincy for tomorrow’s rugby test match against England at Twickenham, with No. 8 Ben Mowen taking over. Horwill keeps his place at lock despite a dip in form, however, with coach Ewen McKenzie hoping being freed of the armband can allow the second-rower to “focus entirely on bringing his ‘A’ game”. It will be the second time that Mowen, who only made his test debut in June, captains the Wallabies. He also led the team against Argentina in the Rugby Championship.
