EVERTON manager David Moyes has been fined for confronting referee Martin Atkinson at the end of his team's 3-3 draw with Manchester United in the Premier League last week. Moyes and assistant Steve Round both admitted the Football Association's improper conduct charges. The FA says Moyes has received the standard 8,000 pounds (US$12,500) fine, but Round has submitted a plea in mitigation.
