Pato to Sao Paulo
Brazilian club Corinthians says it has traded former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato to rival Sao Paulo in exchange for former Brazil midfielder Jadson. Pato was one of the players heavily criticized by Corinthians fans who invaded the team’s training center to protest last weekend. His agent told Brazilian media the striker didn’t feel safe anymore and wanted to leave. Corinthians paid about 15 million euros (US$20.28 million) to sign Pato, 24, from Milan in 2013 in what was one of the biggest transfers in Brazilian football.
