Ribery Suspended For Final
BAYERN Munich playmaker Franck Ribery will miss the Champions League final after he was handed a three-match suspension by UEFA yesterday.
Ribery was sent off for a serious foul in the first leg of Bayern's semifinal victory over Olympique Lyon, and European soccer's ruling body has confirmed he will be banned for three games.
Ribery, who will carry France's hopes at the World Cup, did not play in the second leg of the semifinal in Lyon on Tuesday.
The German side has three days to appeal against the decision.
