Ronaldo wants to help Adriano
A SYMPATHETIC Ronaldo offered to help Adriano on Friday, a day after his fellow Brazil striker said he was taking a break from football.
"It's a difficult time. I will do what I can to help (Adriano) - but in private, him and me. I'm not going to be one more person judging him," Ronaldo said after practice with his Corinthians club. Adriano disappeared for three days following Brazil's World Cup qualifier against Peru last week. He called a news conference on Thursday to announce he will not immediately return to Inter Milan, saying he was unhappy in Italy. "Nobody really knows what is going on," said Ronaldo, who teamed with Adriano to form Brazil's attacking duo during the 2006 World Cup in Germany. Ronaldo - no stranger to intense media scrutiny after an encounter last year with three transvestites in Rio and frequent speculation about his fitness - said he sympathizes with Adriano.
