MANCHESTER United striker Wayne Rooney would be a "sensation" if he played for Real Madrid, former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo said. "He would be brilliant if he came. This is the ideal place for the world's best players and there's little doubt he is one of them," Ronaldo told The Sun newspaper. "Wayne would be a sensation out here." Real has lost three straight games in all competitions, including a 0-4 setback to third-division Alcorcon in the first leg of the fourth round of the Copa del Rey.
