SIPG fans league to start

THE 2016 Shanghai SIPG Fans Football League will be held between April and November, featuring eight 8-man teams sent by the Chinese Super League side’s registered fans associations. The league will apply a double round-robin system. A total of 56 matches will be held on pitches near Shanghai Stadium. According to the club, most of the fans league matches will be scheduled on SIPG’s home match days so as to create “a good atmosphere” for the team. The top-ranked fans team will be awarded a specially designed trophy.
