Sabatini in at Jiangsu

FORMER AS Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini was yesterday named technical coordinator of Jiangsu Suning and Inter Milan, the two clubs owned by Chinese retailing giant Suning.
Sabatini said he would be based primarily in China, but stressed that the Chinese Super League club and Inter were “one big family”.
“If Inter wins and Jiangsu loses, it won’t be a good weekend. We must aim for two wins every Sunday,” the Italian said at a press conference in Nanjing.
Sabatini’s appointment comes a day after Inter sacked coach Stefano Pioli and his technical staff, three games before the end of the Italian season. Inter lies 7th.
