FORMER Socceroos captain Craig Moore was arrested in Dubai after allegedly driving drunk and assaulting police.
The Australian Broadcasting Corp, citing unnamed Dubai police officials, said Moore was arrested on Wednesday and jailed after an altercation with police. He was released from jail yesterday and was expected to appear in court this weekend, the ABC said. Moore represented Australia at the 2006 and 2010 World Cups, after which he retired from international duty.
