Stuttgart signs Celozzi, Schwarz

STUTTGART said today that it has agreed to sign defender Stefano Celozzi and midfielder Matthias Schwarz.
The 20-year-old Celozzi will join on a three-year contract from Karlsruhe, which was relegated from the Bundesliga's top division last season. Stuttgart did not disclose the transfer fee.
"He demonstrated his large potential last season and we are convinced that he will take the next step in his development with us," Stuttgart sports director Horst Heldt said.
Schwarz, 21, is joining on a two-year contract from Ingolstadt, which was relegated from the second division. Heldt described him as a "midfield all-rounder."
