THE English Premier League extended the transfer deadline for clubs which couldn't complete deals by yesterday's deadline because of heavy snowstorms in Britain. The league say it will allow clubs on a case-by-case basis to complete transactions beyond yesterday's 5pm (1700 GMT) deadline due to the adverse weather conditions. A league statement said clubs will have to prove a deal had been agreed in principle.
