Udinese lose to Roma 2-1 in Italian Serie A

ROMA dealt Udinese's hopes of playing in the UEFA Champions League next season a further blow with a 2-1 win in the Italian Serie A yesterday.

Francesco Totti scored two penalties, the first in the 57th minute to put the visitors ahead, and the second at the last minute to seal up the win.

Antonio Di Natale made it 1-1 with two minutes from time, only to see Totti chipped in a cheeky penalty in the injury time.

Vincenzo Montella's side now trail city rivals Lazio by just a point and they are just three adrift of fourth-placed Udinese, whose slim Scudetto hopes were practically ended after they suffered their consecutive second loss.
