Van Gaal silent on Ribery report

BAYERN Munich coach Louis van Gaal sidestepped a report that France winger Franck Ribery is to stay with the club until 2015.
Germany's Bild newspaper reported yesterday that Bayern's bosses and Ribery's advisers had negotiated a contract extension for the player. Van Gaal was asked ahead of tonight's Champions League final against Inter Milan whether Ribery, who is suspended from the game, had played his last match for the Bundesliga champion. "You are a smart guy," Van Gaal replied to his questioner. "But I am also smart."
