Villarreal too strong for Levante
Villarreal maintained its impressive form since winning promotion back to La Liga when Ikechukwu Uche struck twice and captain Bruno Soriano scored a penalty in a 3-0 win at 10-man Levante yesterday.

Unbeaten leader Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, three points behind, also recorded thumping wins, Barcelona beating Granada 4-0 at the Nou Camp and Atletico hammering Getafe 7-0 at the Calderon.
Cristiano Ronaldo struck in the third minute for Real but went of off injured in the 52nd. “It was for precaution,” he said. “It’s nothing special. I was kicked in the first half and had the muscle a little stiff.”
