Wambach mark

UNITED States striker Abby Wambach became the all-time top scorer in women's international soccer when she scored four first-half goals in a 5-0 friendly win over South Korea in Harrison, New Jersey, on Thursday to take her tally to 160. The record was previously held by compatriot Mia Hamm, who scored 158 goals in 275 games. Wambach, 33, was playing in her 207th international.
