TWO leading Brazilian teams are expected to play in the West Bank in November, Brazilian and Palestinian officials said Wednesday. The two teams under discussion are the popular Rio-based Flamengo and Sao Paulo-Corinthians. Sports often have political implications in the Mideast. The arrival of the Brazilian teams to play in the West Bank would be seen as a message of support for Palestinians.
