Chinese swimmers dominate at LAGP

CHINA'S Chen Yin and Jiao Liuyang dominated the men's and women's 200 meters butterfly at the Los Angeles Grand Prix swim meet on Friday.

Jiao had a time of 2 minutes, 8.40 seconds to win the women's event, while Chen topped the men in 1:56.92. Austrian Olympian Markus Rogan won the men's 200 backstroke in 1:59.46, while Kantinka Hosszu of Hungary won the women's 400 individual medley in 4:34.38 and Olympian Ryan Cochrane of Canada won the men's 400 freestyle in 3:50.78. American Madison White upset Olympian Katie Hoff in the 200 backstroke, touching in 2:12.15 to Hoff's 2:12.79. American Olympian Nathan Adrian won the men's 100 in 48.71, ahead of Israel's Nimrod Shapira Bar-Or in 50.10 and Lars Persson of Sweden in 50.28.
