THE 2018 Shanghai Amateur League “Meizaichen Cup” Swimming League held its finals at Pudong’s Meizaichen Swimming Pool over the weekend. Started four months ago, the league held a total of 33 competitions around the city, including in schools, enterprises and neighborhoods. More than 30,000 swimmers, aged between 10 and 50-plus, including some disabled participants, took part in the competitions. Swimming is a newcomer to the Shanghai Amateur League. The league is jointly organized by the Shanghai Sports Bureau, the Shanghai Sports Federation and the Shanghai Meizaichen Sports Management Company.
