Russia win synchronised swimming gold medal
RUSSIA won the fourth consecutive Olympic gold medal today in the team event of synchronised swimming at London.
Russia, which won all the world championships and past three Olympic gold medals, dominated from the overnight deut session to collect a total of 197.030 points for the top podium.
China, the bronze-medallists at the 2008 Beijing Games, edged off Spain for the silver medal with 194.010 while Spain on third with 193.120.
