Sun scoops 3rd title with 800 free romp at nationals

CHINA’S world and Olympic champion Sun Yang won his third title of the week, adding the 800 meters freestyle to his earlier wins in the 200 and 400 at the Chinese national championships in Baoji, northwestern Shaanxi Province.
Sun still has the 1,500, his best event, to come, but is in great form. His winning time in the 800 was 7 minutes and 47.58 seconds, placing him second in the rankings behind Australian teenager Mack Horton.
